Do not start the engine — not even to move off the forecourt. Leave the key out, put the car in neutral, tell the cashier and call us. A misfuel caught before the engine is started is a routine job. One that has been driven is not.

Get yourself and your passengers out and behind the barrier first, then call. On a motorway, follow any instructions from the police or the traffic officers on scene — they may need to arrange the initial move themselves, and we will work with them.
